ArmInfo. The government, which dragged Armenia into a deep crisis, continues to cause irreparable damage to Armenian statehood and sovereignty. This is stated in the statement of the "5165" movement.
The movement states that this time, under the guise of border demarcation, the government of Nikol Pashinyan unilaterally cedes the settlements of the Tavush region of the Republic of Armenia to a country that not only does not prepare for peace, but from morning to night preaches hostility and shows aggression towards Armenia and everything Armenian.
"Moreover, the government, which came to power with calls for love and solidarity, democracy and justice, constantly sows hatred and division in our society, demonstrates behavior characteristic of a dictatorship, and does not tolerate the manifestation of the fundamental rights of citizens. Police violence against civil activists and punitive measures directed by the law enforcement system have become commonplace. All this is also recorded by the relevant international structures involved in human rights.
Pashinyan's government has caused unprecedented damage to our state, both in terms of human losses, territorial losses, and material losses, and has discredited an entire people. Lying and misleading the people are the hallmarks of this government.
In this situation, internal division, disagreement and an atmosphere of mistrust only help the Pashinyan government record another success in undermining the foundations of Armenian statehood," the "5165" movement added.
The movement is convinced that the main supporter of this government is the administrative resource, as well as individuals and forces pursuing exclusively material interests. "The 5165 movement calls on forces alarmed by this situation and viable forces to unite around one goal: ensuring the security of Armenia. We believe that it is possible to put aside political differences and tackle the tasks of ensuring our statehood and sovereignty. Let us prove our faithfulness to Armenia and national values "We have done and will do everything possible to consolidate viable national forces. We are ready to sit at the same table with all sympathetic and pro-state forces to jointly find ways out of this deepening crisis," the statement said.
