ArmInfo. Former Artsakh Ombudsman, human rights activist Ruben Melikyan responded to the attempts of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to contrast "Historical Armenia" with the so-called "Real Armenia".
"Due to my busy schedule, I just learned about the great traitor's attempts to contrast "Historical Armenia" and "Real Armenia."
Simply put, this person calls for contrasting the spiritual ("historical") with the carnal ("real") and takes the side of the carnal, essentially declaring war on "Historical Armenia," the human rights activist believes.
Melikyan is sure that the "real Armenia" that this man imagines is nothing more than a bunch of people who have no conscience, attitude and memory, who think only about devouring and consuming. He added that this is precisely Pashinyan's ideal.
"Meanwhile, the question is not a choice between the historical and the real, but their combination. This is just as it is impossible to imagine a person without a body and without a soul. This is the manipulation of the highest traitor: he opposes what should be combined," Melikyan summed up.
Earlier the Prime Minister of Armenia came up with another brilliant idea, which is not only anti-national, but also anti-state. Thus, Pashinyan called for recording the strategic impossibility of returning to the idea of historical Armenia. In his understanding, which he is trying to impose on the Armenian people, "historical" and "real" Armenia are antagonists and create the most serious threats to each other. According to him, "historical" Armenia, willingly or unwillingly, echoes a number of countries that encroach on the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of real Armenia. Thus, the first person of the Armenian state demands that his people forget their past, which is not only illogical, but also objectively runs counter to national interests, in other words, criminal.
