ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan assures that the fact of recognition of the territorial  integrity of Azerbaijan is necessary for the Armenian authorities to recognize the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia.

"We actually recognized the territorial integrity of Armenia. And the  fact of recognition of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan is  necessary for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia to  be recognized, because the territorial integrity of Armenia is  surrounded by Azerbaijan.

If you do not recognize the territorial integrity of Turkiye, Iran,  Georgia, Azerbaijan, you will not recognize the territorial integrity  of Armenia, because Armenia is even historically a country that is  surrounded by these countries. If you do not recognize their  territorial integrity, you do not recognize the existence of your  country. We were subjected to this temptation, and it was with this  temptation that we destroyed the sovereignty of our country with our  own hands. This is not a political, but a socio-psychological issue,"  Pashinyan said on April 11 in parliament.

Addressing his opponents, the prime minister said: "Let them not  think that anyone loves historical Armenia more than us. Nobody loves  historical Armenia more than me. But I refuse to love historical  Armenia more than real Armenia. I, as the Prime Minister of the  Republic of Armenia, generally refuse to love anything more than the  real Armenia... its people and its interests>.
