ArmInfo. An extremely serious accusation was made by a high- ranking Armenian official, which Moscow did not clarify, opposition MP Tigran Abrahamyan wrote on his Facebook account.
"Recently, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Armen Grigoryan made a remarkable statement regarding the escalation of Armenian-Russian relations and the situation around the CSTO, which was not noticed or did not become the subject of widespread discussion. In particular, regarding the problems that have arisen with the supply of weapons from the Russian Federation, the latter stated that "The Russian Federation reported that Moscow does not supply weapons to Yerevan so that Armenia's position does not become more rigid." Armen Grigoryan refused to clarify which Russian official could have said this, but 4-5 days have passed since his interview, and no explanations have been given by Russia was not received," the parliamentarian noted.
He added that this statement by the Armenian official is worthy of attention from the point of view that until now, in the context of problems with arms supplies from Russia, this reason has not been presented. "No matter how this statement is considered in the context of anti-Russian sentiments, nevertheless, an extremely serious accusation was made by a high-ranking official of the Republic of Armenia, which Moscow did not clarify.
Considering the fact that various officials of the Russian Federation, including the Secretary of the Security Council, react directly and indirectly to the statements of the Republic of Armenia, this inexplicable accusation creates a rather alarming situation," the MP states.
