ArmInfo.The ruling regime in Armenia has been trying for more than three years to convince the  people that pe peace can be achieved by retreating and making  concessions to the enemy.

Social and political figure Avetik  Chalabyan wrote on his Facebook page, referring to the latest enemy  provocation in the direction of Syunik.  He recalled that as a result  of the shootout that took place this morning in the Nerkin Hand area,  4 soldiers from the Armenian side were killed, there were also  wounded, the enemy's losses are still unknown.  In this regard, he  drew attention to the fact that the enemy fired from the positions  captured during the attack on Armenia on September 13-14, 2022, and  even before that, when in December 2020, Armenian troops were ordered  to retreat without a fight.

"Moreover, the enemy arrogantly called this operation an "revenge  operation," reserving the right to freely kill Armenian military  personnel. And this is in conditions when yesterday the Armenian  Ministry of Defense in its small message stated that it would conduct  an investigation and punish the serviceman who opened fire in the  direction enemy, and instead of thinking about how to prevent  possible actions of the enemy," Chalabyan noted.

"The ruling regime in Armenia has been trying to convince the people  for more than three years that peace can be achieved by retreating  and making concessions to the enemy. During this time, Artsakh was  surrendered, the enemy occupied many dominant heights on the eastern  border of Armenia, and is clearly preparing a new offensive in the  direction of Syunik, Vayots Dzor and Gegharkunik. And this and this  group of "false peace lovers," instead of preparing the country for  defense, continue with their actions to divide society, sow hostility  in relations with former allies, weaken the army, and all in order to  prolong their own power for one more day and take advantage of the  "benefits" provided by it," the politician added.

Chalabyan expressed condolences to the families and relatives of the  defenders of the Motherland who died today. At the same time, he  expressed hope that what happened in Nerkin Hand will help the last  hesitant to realistically assess the situation, reject the defeatist  agenda imposed on the Armenian society by this regime and unite  around the need to protect the country.
