ArmInfo.Former state minister of Artsakh Artak Beglaryan proposes that on October 29, the  40th day of the Azerbaijani aggression against Nagorno-Karabakh, a 3-day mourning for the victims be declared in Armenia. 

The politician wondered why the Armenian government has not yet  declared mourning in memory of the victims of the last Artsakh war  and the explosion of a fuel depot, or at least notified of such an  intention?

According to him, a tragedy of such a scale, when about 500 people  died, plus the complete deprivation of the homeland of the people of  Artsakh, is more than a reason for statewide and national mourning.

"No matter how much actual mourning there is in our lives, such  symbolic state events and their absence demonstrate the ideological  attitude of the authorities to the events. I would consider the last  opportunity to declare mourning October 29 - the 40th day of the  start of the war, in my opinion, mourning should be "At least three  days. For comparison, I note that in August 2022, a two-day mourning  was declared for the victims of the explosion in the Surmalu shopping  center, the scale of the tragedy was incomparably smaller," Beglaryan  noted.

The number of deaths during the latest Azerbaijani aggression against  Artsakh is still unknown. According to the latest data, over 200  citizens of the NKR died, including civilians (including brutally  murdered children). In addition, an explosion at a fuel depot near  Stepanakert on September 25 killed 170 citizens, and dozens more are  considered missing to this day.
