ArmInfo. The Permanent Representation of Artsakh in the Republic of Armenia refutes the news about the installation of the Azerbaijani flag in Stepanakert.
In particular, the press secretary of the permanent mission, Armine Hayrapetyan, wrote that as of 12:00 on September 21, the circulating publications about the entry of Azerbaijani troops into Stepanakert do not correspond to reality.
"Fake news related to the flag is also a lie and, like all these types of fake information, serves only one thing: to terrorize thousands of people who are under siege, starving and fighting in Artsakh," she wrote. Hayrapetyan called on to follow only official information regarding the developments in Artsakh and not publish unverified information.
Earlier, in his microblog in X, former Artsakh State Minister Artak Beglaryan reported that Azerbaijan, contrary to the ceasefire agreement in Nagorno-Karabakh, killed one civilian in the occupied village of Haterq on September 21. "This morning, according to preliminary data, one civilian was killed in the occupied village of Haterq, now there is shooting and they are moving in the direction of Stepanakert," he wrote.
Member of the Armenian National Assembly Taguhi Tovmasyan also reported that, according to information coming from Artsakh, Azerbaijani militants are trying to invade the capital Stepanakert, shooting from different sides, and raise the Azerbaijani flag in the center.
