ArmInfo.The Armenian Foreign Ministry again called on its citizens to abandon attempts to return to their homeland by land.

"Once again, we remind you that our citizens cannot use the land  route, which remains closed since March 18, to return to Armenia from  Russia. The Upper Lars checkpoint is open exclusively for  transportation.  To obtain information on restrictions imposed by  various countries in the framework of the fight against coronavirus,  and on the possibilities for the movement of our citizens abroad, we  ask that you use exclusively official information provided by the  Commandant's Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the  diplomatic missions of the Republic of Armenia abroad, "the statement  of the Armenian foreign policy noted departments.

We also note that it is also difficult to return citizens to their  homeland and by air.  So, on the eve a group of citizens got stuck at  the Moscow Domodedovo airport due to the sudden cancellation of a  flight to Yerevan.

In this regard, the Armenian Embassy in the Russian Federation made  clarifications, assuring that during the whole day the embassy staff  was in contact with the citizens of the Republic of Armenia, who, due  to the cancellation of the flight scheduled for April 2, could not  fly from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Yerevan.

"The ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Russian Federation  Vardan Toganyan, the ambassador of the embassy Boris Sahakyan talked  with the citizens. It should be noted that at present most of the  citizens have left the airport, they are at home with relatives>,"  the statement says, adding that those who are not left the airport,  were provided with the necessary food.

Meanwhile, blogger Roman Baghdasaryan said on his page that on April  2, 40 citizens of Armenia got stuck at Domodedovo Airport (flight S7  unexpectedly canceled) and the only person who really came and helped  people (fed and sent him to sleep at the hotel) turned out to be  Shagen Petrosyan .

On the eve of the network, a video flashed where one of the  passengers of the canceled flight appeals to the Armenian Government  with a plea for help. <Tickets purchased, half returned, and the  other not. People have neither money nor food, there are also such  citizens who have been sitting here since yesterday. How to make our  cabinet help? The embassy does not know anything, and when we call in  Yerevan, no one pays attention to us. Tell the Prime Minister: how  long will this people stay here without money, without food and  water? Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow they will put us out of  Domodedovo, and people will be forced to sit on the street in this  cold, "the man said.
