ArmInfo.Armenian Prosecutor General Arthur Davtyan filed a cassation appeal in connection with the conviction of Vardan Dzhangiryan.
According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, in March 2009 Djangiryan was found guilty of part 1 of Article 316 of the RA Criminal Code because on February 23, 2008, during the drive of armed persons in the car <BMW X-5>, he He didn't comply with the requirements of the police officer, didn't show his firearms, and crashed his car into a police car. Dzhangiryan was sentenced to three years in prison; the sentence imposed was not conditionally applied, and a trial period of three years was established.
Meanwhile, it turned out that in the course of the trial, there were violations of procedural law, because of which the adopted judicial acts are illegal and unreasonable, and undermine the true essence of justice. Based on this, the Prosecutor General of Armenia filed a cassation appeal in connection with the conviction of Vardan Djangiryan.
