ArmInfo. Several state non-profit organizations will be reorganized in Armenia. The corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the RA Government on January 30.
As Minister of the Environment Eric Grigoryan noted in his speech, it is envisaged by merger to merge the Center for Monitoring and Environmental Information, the Center for Forest Monitoring, and the Service for Hydrometeorology and Atmospheric Impact into one structure - the state non-profit organization Center for Hydrometeorology and Monitoring. At the same time, a number of decisions of the Government of the Republic of Armenia were declared invalid. The decision of the executive body is fully consistent with the RA Law "On the Structure and Activities of the Government". By combining and optimizing, the minister continued, a unified environmental monitoring system will be created, which will be technically re- equipped using modern technologies. On January 31, Grigoryan said, a modernized monitoring laboratory will be opened.
