ArmInfo. On January 20-22, the State Revenue Committee (SRC) together with the European Union (EU) initiated a seminar for 30 SRC employees, in which representatives of the RA Ministry of Finance also participate.
As stated in the official report of the SRC, the seminar is held as part of the EU Technical Assistance and Information Exchange instrument (TAIEX).
Within three days, EU experts will present the best experience in improving the level of tax legislation by identifying risks, risk management procedures and international cooperation aimed at raising the level of tax legislation. Seminar participants will also learn practical examples of analytical tools for effective risk management in the criminal field and analysis after the audit.
Mikayel Pashayan, Deputy Chairman of the SRC of the Republic of Armenia, noted that raising the level of fair payment of taxes is one of the priorities of the committee's agenda: "This is the best way to identify tax potential and mobilize domestic resources and untapped potential, which can contribute to the formation of a fair, balanced tax system in the country. Therefore, the introduction of an effective risk management system plays a fundamental role in the implementation of the tax service's mission>.
Mikayel Pashayan assured SRC will continue the introduction of electronic services in the system and noted the importance of expanding the analytical potential and tools.
