ArmInfo. A supporter of Robert Kocharyan offered a bribe in return for refusing to testify to the victim in the case on March 1. As stated in the official report of the RA Police, during the large-scale operational-search activities and based on the results of the prepared materials, actual data was obtained that supporters of Robert Kocharian are meeting with the injured persons and witnesses of the March 1, 2008 events and trying to bribe them so that the latter refused to testify.
In particular, as noted in the Police, one of the comrades-in-arms of the second president of the Republic of Armenia invited one of the witnesses to his office, which is located in the Kanaker district of the capital, where he offered to refuse to testify and did not appear at the court session in exchange for the amount that the state should provide as cash assistance.
A criminal case has been opened in the RA Police on this fact. Searches were also conducted as part of the criminal case. The investigation finds out the circumstances. The police attached a hidden video to this material.
