ArmInfo. The cold atmospheric front approaching Armenia from Scandinavia has lost its strength. This was announced by the head of the meteorological forecast department of the Hydrometeorological Center Gagik Surenyan on his Facebook page.
Earlier it was predicted that, due to the atmospheric front, heavy snowfalls will take place in Armenia. Meanwhile, the cold atmospheric front has lost its strength, in connection with which, starting from the next night, only light precipitation is forecasted in the republic, in some areas - a blizzard, and ice on the roads.
On December 5, light snow is expected in places in Yerevan, and rain in the low-lying zone of the capital. From December 6, precipitation will stop, and until December 10 throughout the republic, no precipitation is expected. "Tomorrow afternoon in Lori, Tavush, Syunik and Artsakh, the air temperature will drop by 4- 5 degrees, but a similar increase is expected on December 6-7," Surenyan noted.
