ArmInfo.The Armenian Embassy in Russia clarified the incident in Dubna near Moscow, as a result of which one Armenian citizen was killed and the second was injured.
So, according to the press service of the embassy, the Armenian diplomatic mission contacted the relevant Russian structures to obtain details of the incident with the participation of RA citizens. "According to the information received, as a result of the incident, one citizen of the Republic of Armenia, EG, received injuries incompatible with life, another citizen of the Republic of Armenia received injuries of moderate severity. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified," the embassy noted, adding that they are in constant contact with Russian law enforcement authorities and the question is in the center of their attention.
Earlier, the media reported that several young children, citizens of Armenia, were relaxing in the night club "Lemonade" in the city of Dubna. At the club, they met a familiar company, among which was a resident of the city of Dubna, a certain Sergey Sh. Previously, he had a conflict with the company, which was a native of the city of Gyumri, Yerem Gevorgyan. In the process of communication within the club, the guys stopped the conflict, it seemed, closed all questions. Later, when Yerem and his cousin smoked at the entrance to the establishment, they were suddenly attacked by the mentioned citizen. As a result of a flurry of blows, Yerem fell and received a head injury that was incompatible with life, and his cousin suffered moderate injuries.
According to preliminary data, law enforcement authorities arrested the suspect, but the relatives of the injured party have concerns that he might be released, as he was also previously listed in the structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. At the moment, relatives have already been informed that it is possible in this case article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation <Causing death by negligence> will be applied.
