ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan rules out conspiracies in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Pashinyan said this during a regular  "Conversations with a citizen" on the topic of "Speculation in the  Karabakh issue" live on his Facebook page.

According to him, speculations on the topic of Karabakh over the past  1.5 years have undergone significant changes. "At first it was said  that our government and I personally surrender Karabakh, then, when  time showed the absurdity of these rumors, the thesis began  circulating that since I was involved in a conspiracy against  Karabakh, in all likelihood, (Karabakh) would be surrendered to the  result of a planned war. This thesis was put into circulation during  the 2018 parliamentary elections, "he said. At present, according to  him, another thesis is being put into circulation, according to which  "since the Government or the Prime Minister personally do not make  concessions, or, roughly speaking, do not surrender land, this means  that the negotiations are at an impasse, and now , have already begun  to scare people with the war, and propaganda is carried out  specifically on this topic. " "Budgets are allocated and so on," he  stressed.  Moreover, as the Prime Minister pointed out, in the  Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, as before, there are threats. "But I  want to say that these dangers did not become greater than before,  for example 3 or 4 years ago, but vice versa. If we now monitor the  degree of tension at the border, we will see that over the past 1.5  years we have seen a sharp a decrease in tension, and this decrease  occurred in the context of the well- known discussions in Dushanbe,  but this does not mean that there is no tension.Unfortunately, in  general, tension exists, not the same as 3, 4 or 5 years ago, but at  a much lower level, but there is, and, unfortunately, it continues,  and today we have victims. I'm saying this because no one ever says  that we have settled the Karabakh issue, and that's all, we have  reached a long-term peace settlement, but on the other hand I can say  that no matter how strange it may seem, but in the negotiation  process dynamics, quite an interesting dynamics, and I am optimistic  that it will continue and develop. I spoke with the President of  Azerbaijan also in Ashgabat, and there is a certain dynamics, a  certain environment, a desire to seek, "he said.

"Dear compatriots, conspiracies on the Karabakh issue are excluded,  since the Karabakh issue is not my isuue, not the issue of any group,  the Karabakh issue is a national issue. I said that the resolution of  the Karabakh issue should be acceptable to both the people of Armenia  and the people of Karabakh, and also for the people of Azerbaijan. My  main task is to find a solution acceptable to the Armenian people at  the negotiating table, and when such a solution is formed in the  negotiation process that I can find acceptable for the Armenian  people, I  will present this proposal to our people, we will hold a  national discussion regarding it, decisions should be made in a  national format, "said the Prime Minister. As Pashinyan pointed out,  now is not the time to talk about formats, because "on the  negotiating table, unfortunately, there isn't such a decision so that  we say:" Let's think what we will do. "According to him, if  necessary, the proposed solution be put to a referendum, there may be  other options.  The next speculation, as the Prime Minister  emphasized, concerns that, allegedly, the representations of the  authorities of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh  regarding the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict are  different. "I want to once again state that the views of the Armenian  and Artsakh authorities regarding the settlement of the Karabakh  issue are identical. It cannot be otherwise," said Nikol Pashinyan.
