ArmInfo.Head of the Real Estate Cadastre Committee of Armenia Sarhat Petrosyan was dismissed. The corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the RA Government on October 31.
To recall, on October 18 Petrosyan turned to the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan with a request to dismiss him from this post, noting that he did not share the government's policies and approaches to the field of urban developing, including the cadastre. He also said that he "cannot put up with corruption and the dominance of clans in the system." It should be noted that rumors about the contradictions that arose between Sarhat Petrosyan and head of the RA Urban Developing Committee Vahagn Vermishyan are actively circulated in the media.
To recall, Sarhat Petrosyan is the son-in-law of former Prime Minister Vazgen Manukyan, who in recent days has often criticized the policy of the country's authorities.
