ArmInfo. In 2020, the Armenian government's apparatus intends implement 47 activities under 11 programs with a total value of 22.3 billion drams. This was announced at a hearing in parliamentary commissions on the draft state budget of the country by head of the Prime Minister's Office Eduard Aghajanyan.
According to him, out of the specified amount, 2 programs worth 5.6 billion drams are of a credit category and 4 programs worth 2.9 billion drams are grants. In 2020, the reduction of vehicles of the government apparatus will continue. In 2019, 44 cars and 30 spectators were reduced, resulting in annual savings of 65 million drams. As a result of structural changes, the apparatus itself was replenished with 2 full-time units. However, taking into account the creation of the post of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs and the office of the representative of Armenia in the European Court of Human Rights, the number of staff units will actually increase from 578 units to 721. It is also envisaged that the government apparatus will provide financial and personnel assistance to 6 inspection bodies, which will help to solve socially - economic issues of 1360 employees of these inspections. With World Bank loans, the implementation of the second stage of the public sector modernization program will continue - the introduction of an electronic management system, the acquisition of computers, and other events. Within the framework of this program, free assistance from the Russian Federation is also expected. The government apparatus will continue to provide assistance to political parties, public organizations and the media.
