ArmInfo. The delegation, headed by Prime Minister of Armenia Nikolm Pashinyan, arrived in Moscow. In the capital of the Russian Federation, Pashinyan will take part in the next meeting of the intergovernmental council of the Eurasian Economic Union.
According to the agenda, the government delegation will visit the Skolkovo Innovation Center. Then a meeting of the leaders of the EAEU member countries in a narrow composition will take place, and afther an extended meeting of delegations will hold. Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, Minister of Territorial Development and Infrastructure Suren Papikyan, Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan, Deputy Minister of Economy Varos Simonyan and Deputy Chairman of the SRC Mikayel Pashayan will take part in the meeting on the Armenian side.
After signing the joint documents, the Prime Ministers of the Member States, Chairman of the EEC Board Tigran Sargsyan and Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabic will sign the Free Trade Agreement between the EAEU and Serbia.
A joint press conference of Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tigran Sargsyan and Head of the Government of Serbia Ana Brnabic is expected in the evening. A separate discussion is also planned with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
The Armenian delegation will also visit the Armenian Embassy in the Russian Federation.
It should be noted that members of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EIC) will consider the development of an integration association, international cooperation, the implementation of the EAEU digital agenda, and cooperation between the Union countries in the industrial and agricultural sectors. At the meeting of the Intergovernmental Council, it is also planned to conclude a number of international agreements - the Agreement on the features of operations with precious metals and precious stones within the framework of the EAEU, the Agreement on measures aimed at combining selection and breeding with farm animals within the framework of the Union.
The heads of government of the EAEU countries will consider a statement on the occasion of the entry into force of the Agreement on trade and economic cooperation between the EAEU and China.
To recall, the agreement was signed on May 17, 2018 in Astana (Republic of Kazakhstan). It is assumed that a number of decisions will be made in the field of digitalization of the economies of the EAEU countries and in the jewelry industry. In particular, the Procedure for interaction between the centers of competence of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Eurasian Economic Commission was approved within the framework of the implementation of the digital agenda of the Union. Members of the Intergovernmental Council will be presented with an action plan to promote jewelry products of Member States in the markets of third countries.
