ArmInfo.A tragicomic incident occurred in Dilijan. According to the press service of the Food Safety Inspectorate, veterinarian Edik Tamanyan was instructed to take blood samples from 95 cows in the Haghartsin community for analysis for brucellosis.
Laboratory experts experienced a real shock when a positive result for brucellosis was obtained in 91 samples. Overwhelmed by suspicion, employees turned to their local lab colleagues for assistance.
During the internal investigation, it turned out that the veterinarian decided to cheat, and presented the blood samples of one animal as samples of the 91st cow. Tamanyan sincerely admitted his deed. His further fate and possible penalties are not reported.
