ArmInfo.Vitaly Balasanyan speaks on behalf of a group of persons whom we call the fifth column. A similar opinion was expressed to ArmInfo by one of the leaders of  "Sasna Tsrer" Pan-Armenian party Zhirayr Sefilyan.

Vitaly Balasanyan, Artsakh presidential candidate, former secretary  of the Republic's Security Council, in one of his latest interviews  voiced threats against the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan  and the leadership of the Sasna Tsrer party. Then he repeated them at  a press conference in Stepanakert. At the moment, materials are being  studied by the National Security Service of Armenia.

"It is clear that Balasanyan speaks not only on his own behalf, he  acts as the speaker of the fifth column. In particular, Serzh  Sargsyan plays a significant role in his latest activation.  Fortunately, this group of people has internal problems. In  particular, signs of concern and internal intrigues are noticeable in  Balasanyan's speeches, "he said.

The politician assumes that realizing his own isolation from society,  Serzh Sargsyan is trying to aggravate the situation in Artsakh in  order to solve his own problems. According to him, it is precisely  the periodic visits of Sargsyan to Artsakh that create opportunities  for unification of the leaders of the criminal regime there.

According to Sefilyan, Balasanyan himself does not believe in his own  statements, according to which he does not discuss political issues  during periodic meetings with Serzh Sargsyan and former NSS director  Artur Vanetsyan. In his opinion, in order to understand Balasanyan's  state of mind, one doesn't even need to be a specialist.

Nevertheless, in this whole situation, according to Sefilyan, there  is also the fault of the current authorities of Armenia. And it is at  least unclear why Balasanyan refuses to appear in the Special  Investigation Service, and bear responsibility for his own statements  in the "March 1 Case",  and why the relevant steps prescribed by law  are not taken.  "And the reasons he brings are groundless and  meaningless. We all know very well that Artsakh is the actual part of  Armenia. So far, there are obstacles to legalizing this reality, but  in fact, Artsakh and Balasanyan, in particular, are citizens of  Armenia. Artsakh National Security Service is the division of the  National Security Service of Armenia, and in this sense, Balasanyan  is simply obliged to appear and give evidence according to the law,  "the politician summed up.
