"Undoubtedly, we will continue to conduct exercises there," said the representative of the alliance. At the same time, he found it difficult to say whether Armenia would take part in NATO exercises held in Georgia. "I don't know whether Armenia will take part. I don't have such information, but I can clarify," he concluded.
It should be noted that the NATO-Georgia 2019 exercise will take place in Georgia on March 18-29. The command and staff exercises will take place near Tbilisi in the Joint Georgia and NATO Training and Evaluation Center (JTEC) and the Krtsanisi National Training Center. NATO countries and partners of the Alliance will take part in the exercise, in general, 24 countries - Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, France, Greece, Great Britain, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal , Romania, Slovakia, Turkey, USA, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Sweden.
In addition, in the summer of 2019 in Georgia from July 27 to August 9, 2019 will be held military exercises Agile Spirit.
Recall, these NATO military exercises have been held in Georgia annually since 2011. The plans for these exercises are drawn up jointly with the European Command of the US Armed Forces. Last year, the Armenian side applied for participation, but then refused to send its servicemen.
