Following the meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the EU Commissioner for Neighborhood and Expansion Johannes Hahn said this.According to him, the EU has already provided an opportunity for local banks to provide loans to small and medium-sized enterprises or micro-companies in local currency. "The economy needs a functioning infrastructure, so interconnection is in the first place on our agenda, which implies investment in roads and railways," Khan said. He also stressed the importance of transit of energy resources and the functioning of the energy system, adding that the necessary conditions should be provided not only in Yerevan, but also in the regions of the country.
