ArmInfo. Armenia has no serious intentions to conduct substantive negotiations to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stated this during a meeting with a delegation led by the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia Miroslav Lajcak, Trend reports.
Lajcak also held talks with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov. There are no meeting details yet.
Earlier, the OSCE Chairman-in-Office stated that he intended to discuss in Baku issues of development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the OSCE, as well as the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
After the meetings in Baku, Lajcak will travel to Armenia for meetings with the Armenian leadership. The Karabakh settlement will also be on the negotiation agenda.
To recall, the main priorities of the Slovakia's chairmanship in the OSCE are the settlement of protracted conflicts in the region and assistance in preventing conflicts in the organization's field.
