The development of the sphere will be ensured through the prevention and early detection of infectious and non-communicable diseases. As part of this policy, it is planned to develop the first level of the health care system, promote a healthy lifestyle and expand screening programs.In order to ensure the availability of medical services for all citizens of the republic, the government considers it necessary to take consistent steps to implement the system of compulsory medical insurance.
The executive branch will have to alleviate the burden of socially disadvantaged groups of the population and certain groups in incurring expenditures in this direction.The focus of the Cabinet of Ministers of the country will be issues related to ensuring the health of the mother and child, solving problems at an early age, treating neoplastic and cardiovascular diseases and increasing control over efficiency in the field.According to the document, the Government of Armenia also considers the improvement of professional skills of medical staff and the consistent development of their professional training, improvement of the quality of medical care, as well as the introduction of clinical guides and procedures in accordance with international standards, as a priority.To achieve the above goal, as stated in the document, it is necessary to fully implement the e-health system, digitize medical data, as well as develop the production of medicines in the RA.
The introduction of effective systems of control over the quality of medicines, their prescribing and dispensing is also a key direction in the development of the entire health care system.It should be noted that according to the Constitution, after the approval of the government, the prime minister must submit a program of activities to the National Assembly of Armenia within 20 days. The formation of the Cabinet of Ministers was completed on January 19. Today, the Armenian government has published a draft program on e-gov.am. After approval on Friday, February 8, the document will be sent to the National Assembly of Armenia.
