ArmInfo. Armenia and Tunisia intend to improve the performance of mutual trade. This was announced during the meeting of the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tunisia to the Republic of Armenia Mohammed Ali Shihi. According to the press service of the ministry, during the meeting, the parties stressed the low rates of mutual trade, expressing readiness to make efforts to improve the dynamics of trade.
According to the report, the interlocutors also considered the possibility of holding an investment forum in the near future, during which meetings in B2B format will be held, and various investment programs will be presented. At the same time, the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia and the Ambassador of Tunisia in Armenia raised issues related to the development of a bilateral agreement on investment protection.
