ArmInfo. The issue of dismissing the head of the State Revenue Committee David Ananyan was not discussed in the Armenian government. Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Avinyan announced this in a conversation with journalists on January 30.
To note, around the awards issued to employees of the state sector at the end of 2018, there was a noise. The wide public resonance was caused by bonus payments issued by the SRC. According to the press, the management received 8-9 million drams each, while other employees received the secretary, and the heads of the departments received 2 million drams and more. As stated in the SRC, despite the fact that the bonus fund in the department is one of the largest, the information does not correspond to reality, since "there can be no such premiums." The head of the SRC David Ananyan himself states that the maximum premium was 1.5 million drams (net of taxes). Later, the media reported that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan plans to dismiss David Ananyan and appoint his adviser, the head of the "Mission" party, Mesrop Arakelyan to this position.
