ArmInfo.At the January 14 sitting, the Armenian Parliament began discussions on the candidacies of the Vice Speakers of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
According to Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, according to the current legislation, the positions of two vice-speakers will remain with the parliamentary majority, and one from the opposition.
Candidates of Alyon Simonyan ("My Step" faction), Lena Nazaryan ("My Step" faction), Vahe Enfiajyan ("Prosperous Armenia" faction) and Mane Tandilyan ("Luys" faction) are represented at the posts of Vice- Speakers of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. Of the four candidates, the parliament must elect three. Earlier today, head of the My Step faction Lilit Makunts told reporters that the faction would support Vahe Enfiajyan's candidature.
