ArmInfo. Armenia enters the first working week of the new 2019 with a growing number of problems. The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, the press secretary of the Republican Party, Eduard Sharmazanov wrote about this on his Facebook page.
He, in particular, stated that, firstly, all the basic necessities had risen in price, and secondly, there was a reduction in the revenue part of the state budget of 2018. Also among the omissions Sharmazanov noted that the new parliament of Armenia has no real opposition. "I also want to note that our positions in the CSTO have significantly weakened, moreover, we lost the post of general secretary in this structure, and the brilliant level of Armenian-Russian relations promised by Pashinyan led to an increase in gas tariffs," the deputy speaker said.
"The working week is long, but there is good news in all of this, which is that Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan does not consider all this a defeat. In fact, are these the victories and economic revolution we were expecting?" Sharmazanov wondered.
