ArmInfo. During our meeting with President of Russia, we discussed a wide range of issues, Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, stated in a live broadcast  on his Facebook page returning to Yerevan after meeting with Russian  President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.  .

 Pashinyan noted that between Armenia and Russia there is a complete mutual understanding of the direction in which Armenian-Russian relations should develop.  According to the Acting Prime Minister they discussed the strategy  for the further development of bilateral relations. "In this context,  I can say that we have a full understanding of how and in what  direction Armenian-Russian relations should develop.  This meeting  was a summing up of previous meetings. One can say we summarized the  last 8 months," Pashinyan stressed.

The acting prime minister noted that the format of cooperation  between the government and the leadership of the two countries was  also discussed during the meeting. Pashinyan said that the meeting  was held in a rather positive way. "This testifies to the special and  strategic nature of our relations," he stressed, adding that the  agenda of the Armenian-Russian relations is quite extensive and the  parties did not have time to discuss all the issues.

Pashinyan noted that during this meeting with Putin, the issue of the  Karabakh settlement was not discussed.  The acting prime minister  said that the agenda included an issue related to the appointment of  the Secretary General of the CSTO. ''Our position is that  institutional decisions are needed, it is necessary to amend the CSTO  Charter in order to avoid similar situations and disputes in the  future. In addition, we discussed the essence of the alliance of the  Organization'', Pashinyan said.  He also touched upon gas prices. In  this regard, the acting prime minister said there is no solution on  this issue. Speaking about the price of gas, Pashinyan noted that  there is no decision on this issue. ''Discussions will continue in  working order. It was stated that for bilateral relations this is a  very sensitive topic, and this is understood both in Yerevan and in  Moscow. But in general, I am very optimistic about this. I hope that  in this issue there will be desirable developments for us, or in any  case there will be no undesirable ones, "Pashinyan stressed.  The  acting prime minister noted that other issues related to the content  of the Armenian-Russian relations were also discussed. ''I am  convinced that after each meeting with the President of Russia,  relations between our countries are enriched with new content.  Rather, the existing content gets a specific design.  And we, jointly  with Vladimir Putin, managed to achieve a common understanding of  this content. Every time we state that our relations are so  multi-layered and voluminous that we don't have enough time to  discuss all the questions and details, which means that contacts  should continue. "

According to Pashinyan, this is a new stage in relations between  Armenia and Russia, since the political events in Armenia this spring  and the strengthening of the political situation after the elections  should become the basis for building new relations. "We must be  positive in this regard. There must also be a positive attitude in  building relations with the EU, Georgia, Iran, India, China, our  partners in the EAEU and the CSTO. But of course, our relations with  Russia are of a special strategic nature, and we hope that the  strategic essence of these relations will be given concrete  expression in the economic, military-technical fields. We also hope  that the past 8 months were enough to sum up the post-revolutionary  relations, and raise  to a full, higher and more extensive stage of  building relationships, "he concluded.
