ArmInfo. The Prime Minister of Armenia will himself approve the procedure for using his business plane and helicopter. Acting Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan  declared On November 8, at the government meeting, presenting the  opinion of the executive body on the draft law of the RA National  Assembly MP from the Republican Party faction Armen Ashotyan "On  Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Armenia"  activities of officials. "

The draft law, as the Minister of Justice  noted, proposes that the issue of using an airplane and a helicopter  serving the prime minister, other senior officials be determined by a  decision of the government, not the prime minister. It is also  proposed to streamline the issue of the allocation of funds for the  maintenance of these types of aircraft. The MP justifies his proposal  with the need to ensure transparency and security.  As noted Acting  Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan, proposes that the issue of using  an airplane and a helicopter serving the prime minister, other high  authorities be determined by a decision of the government, not the  prime minister. It is also proposed to streamline the issue of the  allocation of funds for the maintenance of these types of aircraft.  The MP justifies his proposal with the need to ensure transparency  and security.

However, as noted by Artak Zeynalyan, the government considers these  changes to be inappropriate. And it will be correct if the Prime  Minister of Armenia himself approves the procedure for using his  business plane and helicopter", said the Acting Minister of Justice.

The proposal of the MP was surprising and First Deputy Prime Minister  Ararat Mirzoyan, who pointed out that Armen Ashotyan, who often  raises the issue of security, had more than enough time to resolve  these issues. "Ashotyan had the opportunity to propose these  amendments and ensure transparency for years, but he did not do  that",  the Acting First Deputy Prime Minister stressed.
