ArmInfo.Second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan will not participate in the extraordinary parliamentary elections in December, and does not seek to occupy the post of prime minister of the republic. Kocharyan stated this in an interview with Bloomberg.
"I don't see an opportunity now (to become prime minister), and I don't consider it right. And in the future, I will see how the situation will develop. This should not be an end in itself," Kocharyan said.
According to him, if the new government brilliantly governs the country, if the economy grows in double digits, if the security issue of Karabakh is reliably ensured, then this is a completely different situation.
"If we see deterioration in all these issues, it will be a different situation. And even then, if there are young, promising politicians who can occupy this post, occupy successfully and move forward, then thank God. Today, my role is voicing problems first of all ", - concluded the second president.
