"Armen Sarkissian came to Moscow after visiting New York and Paris. In the US, the Armenian president met with Secretary of State Michael Pompeo and former State Department Head (1973-1977) Henry Kissinger, and also received the prestigious East-West Institute award. In Paris, he visited the funeral of chansonnier Charles Aznavour. Information that Armen Sarkissian stayed after that in Moscow, where he met with Sergey Lavrov and Grigory Karasin, was confirmed by two well-informed sources in the state structures of the Russian Federation. In Moscow, Armen Sarkissian was on a working visit in July. This time the information was not disclosed, as the negotiations had the status of informal.
