ArmInfo.Vice-Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia from the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Arpine Hovhannisyan submitted a statement to the police in connection with the threats addressed to her.

"Representatives of the media can view this post as an initial notice of the elimination of such comments from all of their sites, including from Facebook. I will go to court about any entry or comment, submitting lawsuits, including against those subjects who did not delete or continued to provide a platform for offensive records (with elements of swearing) even after the notification. I am going to use the full range of legal tools to protect her rights, right up to contacting the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR). ", she wrote.
As a postscript, the vice speaker noted that, being familiar with international criteria, principles and precedents, she would each time properly inform the media and individuals who became or provided platforms for expletives, even though the preliminary warning of removal was abusive comments are not enshrined in the Armenian legislation and are not reflected in the precedents of the ECHR.
