ArmInfo.September 28 in Dushanbe starts the summit of the heads of state of the CIS.
The agenda of the meeting of the Council of Heads of State includes issues related to economic cooperation, cooperation in law enforcement, military and cultural and humanitarian fields. Considerable attention will be paid to the preparations for the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, which will be held in 2020. The most important documents planned for consideration include the draft decision on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of December 10, 1948. As a result of the summit, almost two dozen documents are planned to be signed. Most CIS countries will be represented by heads of state and government. The exception is Turkmenistan. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov takes part in the UN General Assembly session, and Ahshabad will be represented by Vice-Premier Purli Agamyradov. In New York, there is also the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, who is formally invited to the summit.
