ArmInfo. Arrived on a working visit to Dushanbe, the Prime Minister of Armenia held a meeting with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.
According to the RA government press service, welcoming the RA Prime Minister, Emomali Rahmon noted that this was their first meeting, wishing success to Nikol Pashinyan as head of the Armenian government. The President of Tajikistan noted with satisfaction the high level of bilateral political relations and stressed the importance of expanding trade and economic relations, implementing joint steps to give these ties an additional impetus.
The RA Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and stressed that the Armenian government is interested in developing and deepening multilateral bilateral cooperation. Nikol Pashinyan stressed the importance of developing specific projects in the economic sphere and their implementation. According to the head of the government, Armenia attaches importance to cooperation both at the bilateral level, and within international and regional organizations, integration associations.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed issues related to the expansion of relations in various fields, touched upon the topic of further cooperation in integration associations.
It should be noted that the Armenian Prime Minister took part in an informal dinner in honor of the CIS heads of state the previous evening. Today, September 28, he will attend the next meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State.
