ArmInfo. Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan met with Czech Ambassador to Armenia Petr Mikiskaya, as well as military attache Igor Kandrachin (residence - Tbilisi), on the occasion of accreditation of the latter in our country.
Tonoyan noted that the Armenian-Czech cooperation in the defense sphere has many years of experience, there is a corresponding legal basis and the desire of the parties to further develop cooperation. The importance of cooperation in the military-technical sphere was stressed, as was the need for signing normative documents outlining the scope of this interaction.
Mikiskia confirmed the readiness of the Czech side to develop cooperation and expressed the hope that the appointment of a new military attache would give a new impetus to relations.
In turn, the military attache expressed readiness to continue the already formed cooperation, and to initiate new directions that will enrich the agenda of the plan of Armenian-Czech defense cooperation for 2019.
