ArmInfo. The special investigative service of Armenia is not obliged to track the movements of persons who do not have a status in the criminal case. This was stated by the head of the Special Investigative Service (SIS) Sasun Khachatryan on August 30 in an interview with reporters.
Asked whether the location of the third President is known, and whether he can leave while under investigation, Khachatryan retorted: "You made the assumption that it was going on in the case. I did not say that. I said that everyone will be interrogated who can say something. " However, as he pointed out, the SIS is not obliged to monitor the movement of persons who do not have any status in the case.
Note that on August 16 in a conversation with reporters the head of SIS Sasun Khachatryan said that former President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan will interrogated in the case of the events of March 1, 2008 in Yerevan. "I repeatedly stated that all those involved in the case, without exception, would be interrogated, all. Including Serzh Sargsyan, "Khachatryan said. At present, as Khachatryan pointed out, it is not known when the third president of Armenia will be questioned. This is in the competence of the investigator, who will be guided by the interests and expediency of the investigation. "This is a special tactic of the investigation and the investigator solves the algorithm of his actions with the aim of ensuring the productivity of the interrogation, because the process itself is not an end in itself, but aims to obtain certain data on the case," he explained.
