ArmInfo.Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan took part in the solemn ceremony of sending the first group of the Police troops to carry out combat duty on the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border.
"I am taking part in the ceremony of sending the first group of Armenian police troops to the Armenian- Azerbaijani state border for military duty, and from now on our police officers will stand side by side with our servicemen to protect our border and the Homeland," Pashinyan said during a live broadcast on Facebook.
To note, today the first group of police forces left for Tavush region of the country to carry out combat duty . As Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia Valery Osipyan informed, the police will carry out duty on the territory of the Republic of Armenia. The duty will last 14 days. Policemen will receive additional monetary compensation for being sent to the forefront.
