ArmInfo. The night before, the staff of the International Committee of the Red Cross met with Karen Ghazaryan, a citizen of Armenia who was captured by Azerbaijan. Anna Hakobyan, the wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nicola Pashinyan, wrote about this on her facebook page.
According to her, Ghazaryan in good health, he was given a letter to his mother. "Karen himself also informed the ICRC staff that everything is fine with him," Hakobyan wrote.
She also noted that the head of the ICRC delegation in Armenia Dominique Liegm handed this information to her. Hakobyan said that she had already talked to Kazarian's mother and gave her the information she had. To note, Ghazaryan, who suffers from a mental disorder, was captured by Azerbaijan on July 15. However, Baku tried to present him as a saboteur. Meanwhile, there are all the necessary documents that Kazarian, according to medical indications, did not serve in the army at all. For more than 17 days, Azerbaijan, violating all international conventions, did not admit to the captive representatives of the ICRC and did not publish any information about it.
