ArmInfo. Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan did not rule out the possibility of negotiations on receiving the third military loan from Russia. He stated about it in a talk to journalists.
At the same time, he noted that currently no negotiations are held on this issue. Tonoyan also recalled that Armenia receives weapons not only within the framework of the Russian military loan, but also purchases it from various countries of the world, however he refused to name those countries.
To note, Tonoyan and Deputy Defense Minister of Russia Alexander Fomin refuted media reports on the possible termination of Russian arms supplies to Armenia within the framework of a $100 million loan with Russia. Earlier, Armenia has already received $200 mln loan from Russia, which, according to Tonoyan, has been fully implemented.
