ArmInfo. On the eve of the Francophonie summit, which will be held in Yerevan, on August 1, a telephone conversation took place between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Secretary General Francophonie Michaelle Jean.
According to the press service of the Government, during the conversation, the issues of bilateral relations between the International Organization of Francophonie (OIF) and Armenia were discussed. The interlocutors discussed in detail the preparations for the summit of the Francophonie, in connection with the forthcoming summit of the leaders of countries and governments of the member states of the International Organization of Francophonie on October 11-12 in Yerevan.
The sides also discussed the program of the OIF general secretary visit to Yerevan on September 10-13, within which Michaelle Jean will take part in the 11th conference of non governmental international organizations.
