ArmInfo. The interrogation of the second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan in the Special Investigation Service of Armenia lasted for about three hours.
To note, Kocharyan was questioned as a witness in the case on the events of March 1, 2008. His interrogation at his own request was recorded by the Service's staff, but the record is not subject to publication.
After the interrogation, Kocharyan, accompanied by his security officers, left through the service entrance. Journalists failed to ask questions to the second president.
Meantime, the questioning of CSTO Secretary General Yury Khachaturov on the same case is still ongoing.
To recall Khachaturov, who during the events of March 1, 008, served as the head of the Yerevan garrison, also passes as a witness. Prior to the interrogation, in response to a question from journalists whether he was afraid of changing his status as a witness for the status of the accused, the CSTO secretary-General gave a negative answer.
