ArmInfo. Police of Armenia filed a criminal case against a number of criminal authorities for kidnapping and extortion.
As reported by the press service of the RA Police, the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime received operational data that the so-called "thieves in law", 41-year-old Sargsyan Artem Yurikovich, known in the criminal world under the nickname Artyom Saratov, and the famous criminal authority 41 year-old Arthur Kazaryan, named Tuy (Canaertzi Tuy) with a group of persons kidnapped a 37-year-old resident of Yerevan in March 2013.
Depriving him of his freedom and using violence against him, they forced the "prisoner" to yield his share of 150 thousand dollars in bread productions enterprise. "On the fact of kidnapping and extortion, a criminal case was initiated in the RA Police on July 23. The case was sent to the Investigative Committee for further investigative actions," the statement reads
