ArmInfo.Taxpayers will compensate the judges for the costs associated with hiring residential premises. The Minister of Justice of Armenia Artak Zeynalyan will present the corresponding draft decision on June 28 at the regular meeting of the government.
According to the certificate of support to the document, judges who received an appointment outside their permanent place of residence during the period of their tenure will be compensated for the rent - up to 100 thousand drams (slightly more than 200 dollars - red) when hiring housing in Yerevan, and 70 thousand drams - outside the capital. Compensation will be provided in the manner and in the cases established by the Supreme Judicial Council. The decision, if approved, will come into force on January 1, 2019.
