ArmInfo At the plenary session of the EuroNest PA, with 41 votes for, 5 against, and 5 abstained, an urgent resolution was adopted, initiated by the chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, the head of the Armenian delegation in the structure of Armen Ashotyan and presented by the commission. The document concerns the ratification by the national parliaments of the EU member states of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
An urgent resolution, guided by the ratification in 2018 by the National Assembly of the RA of the CEPA, as yet another confirmation of Armenia's commitment to develop strategic and ambitious relations with the EU, calls on the national parliaments of the EU member states to accelerate the ratification of the Agreement.
The resolution stresses the importance of ratifying the RA-EU Agreement before the elections of the European Parliament in 2019.
