Armen Rustamyan, head of the ARF faction "Dashnaktsutyun" told journalists on June 21 in an interview with journalists.

Asked whether it is possible that the RPA will not agree to amend the  EC, Rustamyan said that in this case the Republican Party will be in  isolation. "We offer an option that does not provide for a complete  rejection of the rating system, but a more flexible version of the  rating. The choice of the candidate will take place throughout the  country, and not on a separate site," Rustamyan said. He noted that  "Dashnaktsutyun" most likely will go to the elections alone, because  it does not want to give up its certain principles. The head of the  ARF also noted that it is important for the security forces, in  particular the police, which plays an important role in the early  elections, to be subordinated not to the prime minister, as the prime  minister is an interested political person, but to the government.

The deputy from the faction "Yelk" Lena Nazaryan stated that it is  necessary to abandon the rating system and completely switch to a  proportional system. Asked whether the transparency of the elections  would be hampered by the fact that all power structures are  subordinate to the prime minister, while Nikol Pashinyan stated that  they should act freely, Lena Nazaryan noted: "In any case, the Prime  Minister did not refuse from my point of view, however, I do not  think that in such a short period of time it is possible to implement  such structural changes. " As for the independence of the security  forces, according to the deputy, they were never more independent  than now.
