ArmInfo.Currently, ministers have to work as investigators, since Armenia has taken root in a wide range of areas, including health care. On May 30, Armenian Health Minister Arsen Torosyan commented on his Facebook page, where the latter mentioned the oligarchs in the healthcare sphere.
According to Torosyan, corruption was so systemic that ministers began to work as investigators, as a result of which they have not yet begun to engage in substantive work. The minister also added that he reported several cases of corruption already in the first days of his appointment, in particular, about the financing of sanatoriums of various officials from the state budget.
"When there are documents that confirm the existence of corruption, the names of corrupt officials will be named, there will be no accusations that are not supported by the facts, since we want to create a new state in which there is no vendetta, then we will not simply name the names, because we are they heard," Torosyan said, noting that inspections are being conducted to collect the facts by the Ministry of Health and the State Agency and the Health Inspectorate. "The results will be sent to the National Security Service, if there are grounds for this, not only personnel changes are expected, but also criminal cases," the minister concluded.
