ArmInfo.The British singer and composer Elton John, at the invitation of President Armen Sarkissian, arrived in Armenia. He visited Armenia within the framework of the  charitable program "Yerevan - my love", initiated by Sarkissian.

According to Armen Sarkissian, the musician is in Armenia with an  important mission - to help children.  He accompanied Armen  Sarkissian and the first lady Nune Sarkissian on the eve of the visit  to the "Yerevan, my love" foundation, which supports children with  disabilities. During the visit, 100 hearing aids were distributed.  The singer is one of the donors of the company that produces hearing  aids. The legendary musician also said that he intends to contribute  to solving the problems of people with HIV / AIDS and representatives  of the LGBT community. According to the President of Armenia, Sir  Elton will return to Armenia. He will give a concert and take part in  the implementation of some charitable projects. "He is the person who  can influence the rating and recognition of our country." Elton John  decided to conduct his last tour around the world, and a film about  his concerts in different countries will be prepared, which will  include Armenia, and he is proud that today in Armenia ", the head of  the Armenian state said.
