"It's very impressive, but, frankly, there is a lot of unused potential, we have to work on this," he said. According to Pashinyan, there are "a lot of interesting things for the Belarusian business in Armenia". "I think it's the same in Belarus," he said.
The Armenian Premier is convinced that the relations between the two countries will always be at a high level, regardless of who will occupy high state posts. The Prime Minister also expressed gratitude for the work of Belarusian journalists in Yerevan, their objective reporting. "This, frankly, was very pleasant," he added.
According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, the foreign trade turnover between Armenia and Belarus for 2017 grew by 21.5% to $ 44.6 million. At the same time, exports amounted to $ 6.9 million having fixed a 48.3% decline, and Import grew by 61.7% to $ 37.7 million.
