ArmInfo. The new Minister of the Diaspora of Armenia, Mkhitar Hairapetyan, believes that during the period of the Republican Party of Armenia there was no agency in which there would be no corruption. "However, I am confident that we will be able to overcome this problem," Hayrapetyan said on May 14 in an interview with reporters
Mkhitar Hayrapetyan does not exclude staff reshuffle in the department. "Personnel changes in the Ministry of Diaspora will be, but I can not name the precise terms of implementation for today," he said. The minister assured, the changes will not have the character of personnel "purges" - all decisions will be made taking into account objective criteria of their work efficiency, where the main criterion will be the combination of experience and age. According to him, first he needs to get acquainted with the deputies, with the staff, as well as with the head of the Ministry staff, and only then jointly make decisions. Hayrapetyan also commented on the criticism that he, as the youngest minister in the government of Nikol Pashinyan, will find it difficult to effectively implement the powers assigned to him. "Fears are there, and they are justified, but I can only say that everyday work - from morning till late night, will give obvious benefits and will help to dispel these doubts," Hayrapetyan said. As the newly appointed minister said, he and the team, of which he is a representative, will be able to eradicate corruption in the country and solve all the problems of Armenia. According to him, it is aimed at the implementation of the idea of repatriation, but realizes that this will require a lot of time and effort. Hayrapetyan believes that the recent developments in Armenia have generated hope in the hearts of the Armenian people for a brighter future. Taking advantage of this, he believes, it is possible to start implementing this program more confidently. It should be noted that the new head of the Ministry of Diaspora visited the department for the first time today.
